Final Odyssey Omega

Prologue

Earth. Terra. Two great worlds. A man in white once took me to Terra. It was a wonderful, magical land. Although, most of its inhabitants fled when the evil man they call King Cravynn took over, using a book of power. I found friends. They helped me escape. The man in white did not want to say goodbye. He eventually left to his castle in the sky,

Meanwhile, Earth was falling apart, piece by piece. But not many years ago, they found a cure, and life among the planet began to flourish once more. I did not know what the cure was, nor did anyone else. A special group of soldiers were sent to protect this great secret, which was held under the World Empire itself. These soldiers were called E-Elites.

But one day, an angry E-Elite broke into the secret room. There he saw the secret. Life was being drained from the world of Terra and into the Earth. His name was Sina. Feeling the power inside him, he felt that he was from Terra. Knowing fully now that Earth must have started to steal from Terra when Terra’s residents began to flee, he grew angry, and came to hate the Empire, Earth, and in time, everything. I don’t know how the Empire is stealing “life” from another planet, I didn’t get to see it. I only know what I know because my father is in the Empire. His name is Scott. I am his daughter, Lucy. They say I’m short, but I’m the tallest in all seventh grade!

I just pray that one day, the Empire will be stopped. I do not trust the leader, Lord Vinosec, or his assistant, General Grant. My father doesn’t like them either, so I fear for his safety. Please, somebody head my cry.

Chapter I: Calling

Year 2550. The Circular city of Sector. It sat in the midst of the Ocean on the western most continent. Large walls kept the water out and the people in. Only connected by two bridges to land that you could not even see by telescope, it was a very safe city. The stars shun down upon the moonlit city. Nearby, a train rolled by. A classic steam engine. Little boys and girls thrilled at the sight of the engine. Grabbing his bear, a young boy watched out his window. “Go to bed, Rick,” his parents said to him, “it looks like the train is not coming tonight.” Standing corrected, the boy and his parents quickly turned their heads towards the window to see the train go speeding by, faster than usual. The boy jumped and cheered, as the parents only grew concern upon their faces.

Faster and faster the train went. It whipped through towns and suburbs. At the end of its tracks lay an Imperialistic building. The Empire was overseas on the Eastern most continent, so they had building amongst each city to ensure their secret way of delivering “life” to the planet was ensured. Closer and closer the train came to the building, at the rate it was going it wasn’t going to stop. People ran screaming from the train, and office workers of the building piled out of the building in haste. The train came crashing into the side of the building, all the cars buckling and snapping, then an explosion followed, blowing the building over in half. Out of the explosion flew a hooded figure. He landed on his knee and braced himself with one hand. Long wavy brown hair up to his ears hung out of the hood, with a blonde streak on the right bang. He wore a white dress up shirt with a short leather vest, and leather boots and pants to accompany it. Men ran over with guns and surrounded him.

“Wanna be Elites, huh?” He asked. Gunfire was shot and the men fell to the ground. Stepping over their bodies was a built African American with a turret machine gun in his hand. A black haired girl came running out from behind him. “Apollo! She yelled at the brown haired man, “I’m so glad you’re safe! Are you hurt?!”

“No…” he replied. “Isaiah we need to move. Angela stick by me.” Isaiah nodded and the three of them ran inside the remains of the building.

“Now how the hell do you know where to go?” Asked Isaiah.

“I used to be an E-Elite.” Apollo responded.

“An Elite? In the resistance!? Don’t trust ya!”

“Calm down.” Said Angela, “He’s been my boyfriend for years now. He’s completely trustworthy.”

                Isaiah grunted.

“Here,” Apollo said pulling open a large tile on the ground. “You guys first.” They climbed down what seemed to be forever, until they reached a bridge leading to a door.

“So this is where it all goes down, eh?” Isaiah asked “This is where they steal from that god damn other world if it even exists.”

                “It does.” Apollo answered.

“How are you so sure!? You ever been there!? If so what the hell is in there!?”

“My brother could answer all those questions,” said Apollo, “but it cost him his life. Let’s just blow this damn thing and get out of here. What’s in there in too unrealistic to believe. I’m going to set the charge. You two gets your asses out of here now. By the we get out of here there will be a shit swam of guards.

A soldier hid around the corner. “Inform General Grant and Lord Ludwig we have a situation.”

Chapter II: Anxious Heart

Another train rolled by. Safely at normal speed. It’s passengers traveling between the towns of Sector. The sun was rising, as it peered over the walls of Sector it glimmered amongst the windows of the tall city structures. Apollo lay atop the train smoking a cigarette. His thoughts raced faster than the train he had earlier crashed. His big green eyes lay half open as his mind drifted slowly into a dream world. Showing his pain was a thing of the past, as his past was nothing but pain. He rubbed gently on his left arm, which was covered in a golden metal cast. A golden metal glove lay over his left hand with sharp finger tips. The bottom of his hand lay open to feel.

He remembered his brother. How he fought so valiantly for the Empire, only to turn against it once seeing their dark deeds. He took his life to try and stop the Elite Sina from killing all he could possibly see. Sina was the top Elite at the time. Ever since the incident, he fled. No one knows where he is. He has been harder to track since the Osama Bin Laden case over five hundred years ago. Who would have thought he was in America the whole time.

Apollo could only feel rage against the Empire. He aspired to bring it down. But he knew he had to be careful. For what he saw in the reactors that bring life back to Earth was something so horrific he himself could never stand to see it again.

A tunnel approached. Hearing the gasping winds of the train entering, Apollo leaped off, only to smash himself into the adjacent wall. His head blacked out into nothingness and he fell onto the ground. If he were to be found by any soldiers that recognized him, he would surely be killed for his actions.

Chapter III: Power Creed

Deep within the World Empire on the Eastern most continent sat a tall man in a black trench coat. Curly black hair sticking out in all directions, his dark brown eyes stared outwards at the Imperialistic City that lay before him.

A man in jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood covering most of his face approached from behind.

“What is it, Creed.” The man in black asked.

“The rebellion is starting trouble amongst us again. I fear they may strike again soon.”

The man laughed. “I do not fear them. Soon Lord Vinosec, our so ‘fabulous leader of the Empire’ will perish, and I shall take his place. Poison his food. Make it seem like a heart attack.

                “Yes sir.” Creed replied.

“Oh and while you’re at it… make rid of Apollo. He is the brother of Leo who saw our energy reactors. We cannot risk our secret being leaked. He should not be hard to find. He used to be an Elite.”

                “As you wish, Lord Ludwig.”

Imperialistic airships flew by patrolling the area.

Ludwig grabbed onto the railing. As Creed left a man in a sturdy uniform with short black hair and sunglasses approached. He was average height, and very well built.

“Hello, Grant.” Ludwig said without even turning around.

“Lord Ludwig. I hope everything is going according to plan.”

“Soon the resistance shall fall, and I shall be leader of this treacherous world. And I shall not be soon to forget to let you rule by my side.”

                General Grant smiled and laughed.

Chapter IV: Good Morning

Apollo steadily opened his eyes. White lights shined in upon his face. He guarded his face with his hand. “Where… Am I?” He said.

“You’re safe.” A friendly voice said. A girl with curly blonde reddish hair leaned over him. She wore a pink sleeveless dress. “My name is Jaime. You are at my house. I saw you fall of the train and carried you here. Can’t have those guards getting to you first!”

“You… know who I am?” asked Apollo.

“Well of course! You are all over the news. You and your friends need to be careful. They’re after you. Orders from Lord Ludwig himself.”

                “Where are my friends?!”

“Here,” said a distant voice. Apollo looked over to see Angela and Isaiah sitting over in a corner.

“You are all safe here,” Jaime said, “I completely support you all. There is nothing tha…” she was interrupted by the television.

“Lord Vinosec has died of a sudden heart attack,” the television said, “truly this is a tragedy to us all, although we must not fear it, for a new leader is here. I bring you, Lord Ludwig!”

Apollo stood angrily at the television at seeing this.

“Good citizens of Earth!” Ludwig began to speak, “I bring good tidings and great rule upon you all! Two days from now I shall be visiting the city of Sector in a parade of celebration! I will announce my new rule and authority that will keep Earth even safer! We shall crush the resistance under the mighty hammer of the Empire and see true rule once again!”

                “BULLSHIT!” Isaiah shot the television.

                “That was… a little extreme…” Apollo said.

“That asshole would see us dead!!!”

“Calm down,” Jaime said, “You’re all safe here for the night. You have separate bedrooms. This is a large house. Hard to pay off, but good for a nineteen year old.”

“Nineteen!?” Apollo asked, “Wow, I’m eighteen and I’m still bumming off of my parents. Well I mean my mother. Hell knows where my father is. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Thank you for helping us Jaime.”
